Brenda Crisp began working at Uni Pres Kindercottage in 1967 and soon moved into the Director’s position. She has been a dynamic forcefor Christ’s ministry ofcare, compassion and advocacy for justice ever

since. A faithful voice for the most vulnerable children in our communities, Brenda has cared for them directly, advocated for them locally and on the state level, shared their stories and her passion in the Giddings-Lovejoy Presbytery, the Illinois South Conference United Church of Christ and countless other churches, service organizations and state agencies. After 50 years, Brenda is moving to a developmental role at Kindercottage and will continue to be an advocate and voice for the coming generations of children in all places and especially in the most impoverished communities among us.

The Anthony Wiggins and Friends Jazz Band.  Known as “The Master Blaster,” Anthony Wigginshas been a performer, entertainer and master teacher of trumpet and jazz in the St. Louis area jazz scene for over 30 years. He has gathered a special group of friends for a great night of music to honor Brenda Crisp and 50 years of ministry at UniPres Kindercottage.

Natalie Monroe steps off the stages of some of the top Comedy Clubs in the Midwest to join in our Golden Gala celebration with her clean comedy and quirky take on life.
