The Kindercottage Staff

Unipres Kindercottage is blessed with as capable and dedicated staff and is led by an exceptional leader, Brenda Crisp.
During 2011 Kindercottage was earned two prestigious awards indicating the quality of the staff.
The two awards are described below.

Quality Counts - Quality Rating System

The Hard to Reach Grant

A voluntary System for early childhood and school-age care providers who meet specific indicators of quality child care.
A provider's participation in Quality Counts Rating System means they have gone the extra mile to help make sure children are receiving an enhanced learning and care experience.
In St. Clair County there are only eleven organizations and three home providers that have earned this award.

There are many children in Illinois that are at high risk for school failure and are eligible for high quality early learning, but their families are not using the care available.
The grant targets these hard to reach families with innovative approaches for getting children enrolled and participating regularly in high quality early learning programs.
Only six organizations in the entire State of Illinois were awarded these grants.
